Ahmedabad, March 14: Gujarat Anti—Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested some terror suspects allegedly engaged in unlawful activities in the State, ATS sources said on Sunday.
“We have arrested some people who were involved in some unlawful activities in the State from the city,” ATS chief Ajay Tomar told PTI here.
However he refused to divulge further details about those arrested.
Sources in the ATS said that the arrested persons were terror suspects who were active in the State and are supposed to have connections with banned organisation Hizbul Mujahideen.
Further details would be made available later in the day, they added.
