Old city of Hyderabad has been transformed into a hub of Gudamba business. Rowdy elements are not openly selling illegal drinks but also involving innocent children for preparation and selling of gudamba. Patel Nagar, Lalita Bagh of old city has now a days become a hub for such activities. Sale of gudamba begins in the wee hours at Patel Nagar.
Representation with the police by the locals also proved ineffective as the rowdy elements threaten local public saying ‘police can do, no harm to us. Even if we are caught we would not leave those who complained about us when we return.
