Hyderabad: Telangana Government has decided to postpone Group II examinations by two months also to postpone the SI exams slated for Apr 4. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the TSPSC Chairman, Prof Ghanta Chakrapani to postpone the Group II exams by two months which are scheduled to be held to fill up 439 posts on Apr 24 and 25. The chief minister asked the officials to conduct the same only after including other remaining posts. When a team of MLAs including BJP’s Ch Ramachandra Reddy and Telugu Desam R Krishnaiah and others met him at his Assembly chambers, KCR took this decision and asked the officials to postpone the exams. To avoid inconvenience to the candidates appearing for RRB exam on Apr 4, the chief minister took a decision to postpone SI exams and conduct them in both English and Telugu. (NSS)
