A groom who conducted marriage after duping his in-laws was arrested at the Valima ceremony. According to Rain Bazar police 35-year-old, Mohammed Ahmed Ali, R/O Humayun Nagar who was a flower vendor posed himself as a wealthy person and performed second marriage with a girl.
Sajida Akhtar lodged a complaint with Rain Bazar police stating that Ahmed Ali kept his first marriage a secret and married her daughter by posing himself a rich man. He had made false claim that he owned lakhs of rupees. Mohammed Ahmed Ali’s lie was exposed on the day of marriage, on which bride’s mother lodged a complaint with the police. Acting upon the complaint inspector Rain Bazar arrested Mohammed Ahmed Ali on the day of his Valima.
