The then secretary Minority Welfare Dana Kishore had launched public grievance cell 3 months ago to hear the complaints regarding minority institutions which conducts its meeting on every Monday. Initially much enthusiasm was seen on part of the public but gradually the officials as well as public both lost interest regarding grievance cell.
The main reason behind this is that the complaints lodged by the people were left unattended. During his last days as secretary minority welfare, Mr. Dana Kishore himself was absent from the meetings. The present secretary minority welfare Rani Kumudini on Monday visited grievance cell only to find that not a single complainant approached the grievance cell. This is the first time during 3 months that no complaint was received.
