Greenway, a Mumbai-based startup enterprise, announced the launch of Greenway Stoves, range of modern, healthy and eco-friendly stoves that form ideal replacement for traditional mud stoves.
According to Ankit Mathur, Chief Technology Officer, Greenway stoves (Smart Stoves & Jumbo Stove) come with a patent pending air regulator technology that ensures 65% fuel savings and 70% smoke reduced while cooking on all solid biomass fuels such as wood, dry dung, crop waste etc. With smoke emission reduced considerably, it stops 2 tones of CO2 equivalent emission from entering into the atmosphere every year. It has been tested and certified by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). (NSS)
