(Subhatul Marjan) Congratulations Mr Azam for getting back your precious possessions, your buffaloes. Your promptness in taking actions to punish the police personnel is justifiable. It shows, you are aware of losing something. Your involvement in recovering your buffaloes back shows the police machinery works and it is not motionless. It conveys a message that no one can hurt your interest in any possible way.
The question or questions arise here about the contrasting and callous attitude towards the 50,000 people. They were your own people hailing from your own constituency, many of them butchered and charred to death. Many innocent children died because of chilling cold and lack of basic medication. The double standard of your personality shows strong evidence that you solve your problems and others in a terribly contrasting way. As there are policemen reprimanded for their irresponsibility which caused the theft of your beloved buffaloes. But there is not a single action taken to reprimand the culprits who have instigated violence of such magnitude and intensity. And the evidences don’t stop there. You don’t only take the pain and trauma of the community you belong to, very lightly, you prefer to become the part of celebrations. It is appreciable, as when people were stranded and confined to plastic tents without basic amenities and medicines to survive, you chose to be the part of Saifai celebrations and international trips to unwind and relax. Your justification says it was a business trip but would you celebrate and enjoy sightseeing when people of your own (so called) community were shivering with cold and pain of losing their relatives, assets and everything they had. They were and still are traumatized and baffled to know that you represent the political face of Muslims. It makes sense, when 50,000 people were struggling to breathe and survive you chose to go for international trip with your delegates to explore business possibilities. However, as you might say that the growth and destruction have no interdependency.
You belong to the same party which has announced that the people living in the tents are sent by the BJP and Congress and they are trying to malign the reputation of Samajwadi party. But here do you or your party have any confusion that people were killed, innocent children died, many gang rapes took place, and people were killed in front of their loved ones. So does it matter who is trying to instigate distrust against your party. The common Indians have questions as what actions have been taken to reprimand the people responsible for the massacres and atrocities. Why the government machinery remained deaf, dumb and motionless? Why your buffaloes came back to you? How the police can work so efficiently when your interest was at stake? Why was there no action and no arrangement by the state government when people were and are struggling to stay alive and survive?
It’s ironical that people like you, who believe in personal gains and selfish appeasement of the ruling party, represent Muslim community. It’s great that you got your buffaloes back, at the same time you have to answer the following questions as to justify your acts, promptness and decisiveness. And they are as follows;
• When would the 50,000 people be back to their respective homes with the promise of security?
• How and what initiatives your government is going to take to wipe the tears of those mothers, who have lost their little ones?
• What would your party do to help their scars and wounds to heal?
• Would you explain or justify the amount of extravagant expenditure on Saifai celebrations when the relief didn’t reach the innocent people for many weeks?
• Do you or your party’s supreme authority have any guideline or route to be followed to reprimand the rapists?
• Why you couldn’t not show the intensity and concern when sixty people were brutally murdered, sixty-five children died of cold, hundred women are still missing, as you showed when your buffaloes were lost? Are they (buffaloes) more important than human lives just because they (buffaloes) belonged to you?
Or your answer will reflect your party’s statement that, these people are not the riot victims but seasoned beggars and now they would remain the same for the rest of their lives???????? And for you, once again, Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!
