Hyderabad, October 2: The old graveyard Ziaguda is a waqf property whose complete record is present in waqf board. This is a Muslim graveyard on which a non Muslim has constructed a room and has set up a temple. When our correspondent reached there to inspect the land he found that 1732 sqyd valuable land is in the possession of non Muslims. There is a shrine of a clergy man too. A man has tied buffalo on the remaining land.
There is still time. The waqf board should come into action and take possession of the reaming land. This is community’s property. The rate of land there is 15000 rupees per sqyd. Nearly all graves have been leveled so that construction work could be started.
A woman has constructed a room, bathroom and a temple on the old graveyard. She has to say that she has been staying there since December 1992 and has got the municipal number of the land.
