TRS government has done grave injustice towards Muslim advocates while recruiting Government Pleader (GP) and Additional Government Pleader (AGP) in state High Court, subordinate courts and tribunal courts. Not a single Muslim name is in the list announced the day before. While Muslim advocates were totally ignored in recruitment of standing counsels. Of the 64 standing counsels only two are Muslims.
Strongly reacting upon this attitude of state government, President Welfare Party of Telangana Syed Shafiullah Quadri advocate said that although TRS government had announced 12 percent reservation to Muslims in government jobs and education but when it came to recruitment on nominated posts injustice was done towards Muslims. He told that nomination of only one official on GP post, just 3 Muslim advocates on AGP posts and only 2 Muslim advocates among 64 standing counsels is sheer injustice.
