Hyderabad: A 64-year-old man was charged with sexually assaulting his nine-year-old granddaughter. Tukaram Gate Police is investigating the matter.
On Friday, the little girl studying in 2nd class was taken to hospital by her mother when she complained of pain in her private parts. The doctors found injuries on her private parts. When asked about it, the girl revealed that her grandfather touched all over her body and her private parts while she was sleeping beside him a week ago said the Police Inspector G.Ramesh.
The mother lodged a complaint against him on Friday with the Tukaram Gate Police. The police registered a case against him under section 376(rape) of the IPC and also under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCOS) Act. However, the suspect is yet to be arrested, as reported in Telangana Today.
