Calligraphic art is one of the Islamic arts. Training, promotion and publication of this art have great importance. Grand Mufti of Palestine Shaikh Mohammed Ahmed Husain and Khateeb Masjid Aqsa told this on the occasion of inauguration of calligraphic exhibition. He expressed happiness over the promotion and publication of Islamic art. Present on the occasion were Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan, Mr. Ali Shaban Sadeq Palestinian ambassador for India, Mr. Syed Viqaruddin Quadri Editor in chief Rahnuma-e-Deccan, Mr. Abdullah Abdullah MP Palestine, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan Managing Editor Siasat daily, Mr. Amer Ali Khan news editor Siasat, Mr. Dr. Akber Ali Khan, Maulana Syed Tariq Quadri and Mr. Taqiuddin Shaji.
Artists Mr. Nayeem Saberi, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Lateef Farooqui, Mr. Viqaruddin Naser and Mr. Faheem Saberi explained the details of calligraphic illustrations showcased in the exhibition. Later the grand mufti got acquainted with the welfare activities carried out by Siasat and lauded the same.
