Washington: Pop sensation Shakira took home the Best Latin Pop Album award for ‘El Dorado’ at the 60th Grammy Awards.
The 40-year-old is the first female artist to win twice in this category, reports Entertainment Weekly.
She won the Best Latin Pop Album award 17 years ago for ‘Shakira – MTV Unplugged.’
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer took to Twitter to post a video in which she thanked her fans for their support to the album.
“Thank you for this Grammy #GRAMMYs,” she captioned the clip.
‘El Dorado’, which was released in May, last year, is the Shakira’s 11th studio album. (ANI)
