Promising to provide housing facility to poor, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today appealed to the people of Erravalli village under Jagdevpur mandal in Gajwel constituency of Medak district to take up cleanliness drive and remove trash for good environs.
Participating in Grama Jyothi program meant for complete development of the village after making a round of the narrow lanes of the hamlet, KCR expressed concern over the pathetic condition of the roads. The government will provide two bedroom houses for 200 deprived persons and give funds for development for basic amenities, KCR said. “This is my village which supported statehood movement that resulted in Telangana State. We need to have patience and awareness to sort out the issues”, he said.
The Chief Minister also expressed discontent at the non-development of the village despite the presence of the people’s representatives. “Let us work for removing the garbage and trash to enable ourselves to live in better conditions”, KCR stated. There is a need for combined efforts for anything to be done and the government is committed to develop the villages, he said. “We are here to provide all help and cooperation and the people should take initiative to make good of their lives. I will share your work for cleanliness drive and then plant saplings”, KCR added. (NSS)
