Muzaffarnagar, October 21: The husband of a Gram Pradhan was shot dead and four persons, including a woman, were injured in a case of political enmity in Baghpat district, police said today. The incident took place when Ranvir (40) was campaigning for his wife with his supporters at Soop village yesterday.
A case against seven persons has been registered, police said, adding all the accused are absconding.
