London, September 08: Durham fast bowler Graham Onions has replaced injured all-rounder Andrew Flintoff in England’s Champions Trophy squad.

Onions takes Flintoff’s place in the 15-man party for the tournament in South Africa, and will also provide bowling cover for the remainder of the NatWest Series against Australia.
Onions, 27 this coming Wednesday, joins up with the one-day squad in Southampton on Tuesday ahead of the third match of seven.
Flintoff has incurred a deep vein thrombosis in his right calf following knee surgery.
Flintoff, 31, underwent an operation upon the conclusion of the Ashes and is expected to be sidelined for a minimum of six months.
