Responding on the issue, the Minister said that the state government would make a clear statement by today night. The Government has no intention to create inconvenience to the poor families. Uncertainty prevailed on the tuition fee reimbursement as the government had no control over the private colleges and the court orders. The Government was committed to protect the interests of the students, he made it clear. Already 90 percent of the colleges have accepted the fee of Rs 35,000. The government would also make a clear statement on the students who had merit and got the admission in the colleges, which were collecting high fee. (NSS)
