Govt will help MRF expansion; New Industrial Policy soon: CM

MRF, the largest Tyres manufacturers in India, today announced expansion of its existing factory in Ankampally in Sadashivpet mandal in Medak district at an outlay of Rs 980 cr.
MRF CMD KM Mammen, Senior General Manager Izak Tamburaj today called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Camp Office and informed him of the expansion plans and provision of employment to 905 persons. With its current turnover pegged at Rs 4,300 crore, the MRF Company was providing employment opportunities to 6,500 persons now.
The Chief Minister assured the company of all possible help and cooperation to expand. When they appreciated steps of mitigating power problem, KCR said collective steps have given better results to tide over power crisis. “There will be no power cuts in future and we will now ensure uninterrupted power supply in the State besides providing drinking waters through water grid project”, he said. “Once the Water Grid scheme becomes operational, all the industries will get adequate water”, he clarified. KCR also stated that the Government would soon announce its new industrial policy by calling a meeting of noted businessmen and industrialists.
The Chief Minister said the Legislature Assembly recently passed a bill pertaining to the new industrial policy which will prove handy to the businessmen, industries, startups and entrepreneurs. The Government will come up with one of the best industrial policies in India to ensure a very simplified and hassle-free regime to give permissions in about three weeks to set up their shops, KCR stated.
