Hyderabad, Nov.15 (NSS): -The Chief Minister, Mr K Rosaiah, on Sunday assured that the State Government would act impartially and transparently on the alleged illegal mining operations by Obulapuram Mining Corporation (OMC).
Responding to the Opposition leaders, who submitted a memorandum to him on the issue at his residence, Mr Rosaiah said that he had reviewed the problem with officials thrice after assuming charge as Chief Minister and much before it was highlighted by the Opposition parties. The Government would study the issue in depth and act in a transparent manner. There was no need for doubts on the sincerity of his government on it. “My government will not protect any person and there is no question of yielding to any force”, he made it clear.
The Chief Minister asserted that his government would give top priority to protect the public properties, including mines. He assured the Opposition parties that the government would act according to the rules and regulations in the matter. (NSS)
