UP Govt urges women participation in health awareness

Lucknow, November 02: The Uttar Pradesh government today urged the women to ensure their maximum participation in programmes related to health awareness and run them effectively.

Chief Secretary Atul Kumar Gupta in a statement said that the government resources were limited, so voluntary organisations should hold health camps and play an active role in the treatment of general public.

The Chief Secretary expressed these views yesterday at a function organised at the Poornanand Tiwari Seva Santhan here.

He said that the health camps should be held more frequent, so that more and more people could be benefited.

The Chief Secretary on the occasion, released a souvenir titled ‘Seva Sandesh’ and presented shawls to senior persons associated with Seva Sansthan.
