Talking to newsmen, Principal Secretary to Govt. Dept. of Tourism said that Govt. has taken possession of the land of old Gandhi Medical College situated at Bashir Bagh.
Ms. Chanda Khan said that for the past few days there were news items published in the newspapers and some T.V. channels also telecast that the land belonging to old Gandhi Medical College has gone into the hands of Land Mafia. Govt. became alert and took possession of the said land again. There is no question of giving this land to the land mafia. She also said that there is nothing to worry about this valuable piece of land. Govt. will take necessary steps to save this land from land mafia and would try to remove the anxiety crept into the minds of the public.
