TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the Govt. is making an unsuccessful attempt to cover up its irregularities. He demanded resignation from excise minister Mr. M. V. Venkataramana since his name figures in ACB report for allegedly accepting bribe. He pleaded the Govt. to ask all those involved in liquour scam to resign from their posts till the investigations are completed.
Mr. Naidu was addressing a gathering of the youths attending training programmes. He told that irregularities are like cancer which ruin the country. He alleged that irregularities started when Congress assumed power in the State. He advised the youths to come forward to develop the country and create atmosphere of rejecting the corrupt leaders.
