New Delhi, April 07: BJP today demanded that the government stop all talk of a dialogue with the naxals after they killed 76 security personnel in Dantewada, saying the idea is “patently absurd” as the Left-wing extremists want to seize political power and end parliamentary democracy.
The principal opposition also came down heavily on activists who have become the “sophisticated face” of naxal violence as they maintain a conspicuous silence when they kill innocent people but cry foul when Maoists are killed.
“The intentions of the naxalites are very clear. We need to be clear about our intentions. BJP believes there is no purpose in talks. The very idea of offering talks is patently absurd,” party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
