GOVT should release white paper on Wakf land LOOT ?

Hyderabad, Aug.4 (NSS): All India Muslim Minority Organization has demanded that the State government release a white paper on 25,000 properties of Wakf Board in the interests of the minority community.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, organization chairman Syed Muqtar Hussain alleged that the political leaders and their henchmen were grabbing the Wakf Board lands across the State. He demanded that the State government take stern action against the land grabbers and protect the lands. Demanding that the State government set up a Wakf Commissionerate to protect the Wakf

lands, he urged the government to resume the Wakf lands, which were allotted to private persons, and save the Muslim graveyards. Demanding that the State government strictly enforce Urdu language in all the departments as second official language of the State, he asked the government to provide adequate funds to help strengthen Urdu Academy and encourage Urdu language.
Former TDP secretary M.A. Siddiqui has demanded that the Centre immediately implement the Justice Ranganath Mishra and Justice Rajindar Sachar Committee recommendations for welfare of the Muslim community. Siddiqui demanded that the Centre provide 15 per cent reservation to the Muslims in education, employment and political sectors. He also demanded that the Centre order CBI inquiry into the recent Assam riots. He urged the Union government to earmark Rs 300-crore for compensation to Muslims, who lost their homes and lands in the violence.
