Govt. should be serious about welfare of Minorities-Shahbaz Ahmed Khan

Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan, President of Greater Hyderabad Minority Cell of TDP demanded the Govt. to exhibit its seriousness of intention for the welfare of Minorities. After the retirement of Mr. M.A.Waheed as Managing Director of A.P. State Minorities Finance Corporation and Commissioner of Minorities Welfare Department, Mr. C.Prabhakar was appointed in his place to hold additional charge. He came to the office only for one day and disappears. Due to his absence the work relating to the issue of scholarships and fee reimbursement of Minority student is getting disturbed which is causing inconvenience to many student.

It is alleged that there are irregularities in the implementation of Rajiv Yuva Karnalu scheme is being implemented out the funds of Minority Finance Corporation. There is a need to probe into these irregularities. The announcement of C.M. for allocating Rs.1027 crore for Dept. Minorities Welfare seems to be a paper work. Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan demanded the Govt. to take immediate action for the reimbursement of Fees and Scholarships, otherwise TDP’s Minority Cell would launch a massive campaign against the Govt.
