Andhra Pradesh Minister for Revenue N.Raghuveera Reddy today informed in the State Assembly the government has fixed time limit of 30 days for issue of Community, Nativity and Date of Birth Certificates.
He said during question hour that the government also proposed to fix a time limit of seven days for issuance of Income and Residence Certificates.
He denied that students were put to great inconvenience in getting admissions to colleges due to abnormal delay in issuance of caste, income and residential certificates.
MeeSeva Project, aimed to deliver all statutory certificates within stipulated time, was being implemented on a pilot basis in Chittoor District and is planned to be rolled out in all districts by this month end, he added.
