Govt serves notices on parents; Medicos may lose academic year if strike continues

Taking serious note of medicos’ strike continuing for over one month reflecting its adverse impact on patients at various hospitals across the State, Telangana Government on Tuesday warned that another 10 days agitation will cost them the academic year.
The Government is learnt to have issued notices to parents of the agitating Junior doctors and warned them of severe action if they failed to resume duties. Telangana Medical Education Council reportedly sent notices to the parents to press their wards to resume duties or face axe soon, according to information. (NSS)
