The Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) has charged the government with running away from the Assembly by adjourning the House, without facing problems.
Talking to the media here, TDLP Deputy Leaders Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu and Ashok Gajapati Raju have said that while late chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and then adviser to the government Dr K V P Ramachandra Rao plundered the State, the six ministers now facing charges also received their own share in the loot.
They said that R&B Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao was making a strange argument that the petitioner had not asked the court to institute inquiry into the involvement of the ministers. They said that it was now proved beyond doubt that thousands of crores of rupees of public money was misused through the impugned 26 GOs. They said that still the government was not showing any interest in either punishing the corrupt or recovering the loot. (NSS)
