Govt. resents over poor performance of MFC

State government is resentful over the slothfulness of Minority Finance Corporation in connection with the implementation of schemes related to Minority welfare. According to highly placed sources, disappointed by the poor performance of Minority Finance Corporation, government has decided to change the officials.

According to sources commissioner Minority welfare Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal (IPS) has submitted a report to Principal Secretary Minority welfare regarding inaction of Minority Finance Corporation and have proposed some recommendations to improve the performance. He expressed anger over non implementation of bank-linked subsidy scheme. Besides this another major scheme of the Minority Finance Corporation i.e. training and employment scheme has not been started so far. While these are the only two major schemes towards which government has allotted Rs. 112 crore. Now that just 4 months remain for the completion of current financial year, there is no breakthrough in connection with the two schemes.

It is said that government has decided to appoint an active and dynamic officer for the post of Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation. Some names are also under consideration.
