Govt pulled up for inadequate security in city

The legislators and Parliamentarians of the city slammed the State Government for its failure to make adequate security arrangements in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Participating in the discussions on security measures in the city during the Hyderabad District Review Committee meeting held at Jubilee Hall on Wednesday, MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that a series of blasts failed to awaken the government from its slumber on security issues. The government should have taken precautions after blasts at Mecca Masjid, Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat. He pulled up the government for not drafting a Security Action Plan.
