Major Irrigation, Marketing & Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao on Saturday announced that the State government would procure crops in the market yards along with the grain merchants.
Speaking to the media, Harish Rao said the market yards would be transformed into the Rytu Samkshema Market Yards. He also assured that rest rooms and canteen facilities would be provided for the benefit of the farmers in the market yards. Harish Rao said they would organize workshops for farmers as part of strengthening the Rytu Bandhu Pathakam. (NSS)
