Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is planning to extend the term of office of Commissioner of Minorities Welfare Mr. M A Waheed. M A Waheed’s term will expire on 31st of this month.
It is said that Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is interested in extending Mr. Waheed’s term of office in Minority Finance Corporation which he expressed before Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmedullah and MLC Farooq Husain. Both the leaders called on chief minister and submitted a written representation for extension of M A Waheed’s term.
Farooq Husain told that M A Waheed has shown remarkable performance as Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation and now that the government has increased the minority budget, the post requires a dynamic officer who could ensure effective implementation of the schemes.
