The State government is paying Rs 3.5 lakh of public money for a fancy number to the new vehicle of the Social Welfare minister.
The government has directed that the number 9999 may be allotted to the vehicle new Toyota FORTUNER of the Minister for Social Welfare by paying Rs 3.50 lakhs to the Transport department.
The Transport department has been allotting fancy numbers like 9999 by holding open auction. Earlier, the Transport department also allotted fancy numbers to new vehicles of some ministers without auction.
