Member of State Legislative assembly and deputy leader TDP Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Masqati alleged that the central government is not serious in providing reservations to Muslims. Reacting on scrapping of 4.5 percent reservations to minorities, by the Supreme Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court, Mr. Ibrahim Masqti claimed that the Supreme Court’s slap to union government imply that the government has no interest in eliminating the backwardness of minorities in general and Muslims in particular. He told that Congress party has a history that it had never been serious regarding Muslims.
He affirmed that Congress party has always been using Muslims as vote bank and it came to power in Andhra Pradesh by making false promise of providing reservations to Muslims.
