President of Telangana Resource Centre, and State Coordinator Telangana Praja Front, Mr. M. Ved Kumar made the State Govt. responsible for the cancellation of 4.5% reservations for the Muslims. He said that Govt. is not serious about giving reservations to the Muslims. He told that instead of amending the constitution of India, Govt. has tried to create animosity between the Muslims and the backward classes by carving out Sub quota from OBC’s reservations. Due to the reservation given by AP State Govt. some Muslims are being benefited.
This has caused unrest among others. He told that if Central Govt. is serious, it should enact a law by amending the constitutions. He also appealed to the Muslims to join Telangana movement to strengthen it.
