Telangana government is taking measures to give Fazil exam conducted by Idara-e-Adabiyat-e-Urdu equivalent status to intermediate. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali during his visit to a religious madrasa in old city told that earlier Fazil exam was treated at par with intermediate but due to narrow-mindedness of some officials the decision was withdrawn.
He asserted that he would talk to chief minister Chandrashekhar Rao on the issue and the issue would be resolved in a meeting with high officials. He told that by giving equal status to Urdu Fazil as that of intermediate, would help students, belonging to religious madrasas, pursue higher education.
