The state government is dandling whether to conduct a separate entrance test for engineering course or not.
As there is more number of engineering seats than students appearing for Eamcet, the state government is examining whether to conduct the admission test or not in future, Deputy CM K Srihari said. T govt is already conducting a separate Eamcet for Telangana students.
Referring to admission process in Tamil Nadu which is based on Inter marks, he said that “Telangana government should study the admission process in Tamil Nadu so that a similar system could be implemented in Telangana too”.
Congress opposition leader raised question about admission process into medical stream this year (Previously, NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, conducted the admission process for both Telangana and AP).
Telangana government now has Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences at Warangal but unfortunately, there is no proper building or staff to run the university. Except the vice-chancellor, the government has not appointed any other staff.
