Hyderabad: Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India has announced scholarships scheme for the academic year 2017-18. Minority students are eligible to get pre-matriculation, post-matriculation and Merit-cum-means scholarships. The applicants should get more than 50% marks at the last annual examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education or CBSE etc for post-matriculation scholarship.

The applicants are advised to furnish the details of their bank accounts to facilitate the process of transfer of scholarships directly into their accounts. The last date of online registration for the fresh applicants is 31st August 2017, for renewals, it is 31st July 2017.
Applicants belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities are eligible for these scholarships.
