Govt. health scheme for school kids

Hyderabad, October 15: Jawahar Bal Aarogya Rasksha a health programme for school kids is going to be launched from November 14 across the state. Chief Minister K Rosaiah will inaugurate the scheme whose purpose is to carry out health check ups of the school kids.

It is estimated that 85 lakh kids studying in the government schools will be covered and if found ailing medicines will also be prescribed, not only that if any student is found sick he would immediately be taken to any nearby government hospital or Primary Health Centre (PHC). The purpose behind the scheme launched by the health department is to suppress the diseases that kids suffer from in their early stage.

Under the proposed programme medical check up of the students will be scheduled two days in a week and medicines will be prescribed in case any one is found suffering from disease.
