Govt has scant respect for Hindu Religion: Pontiff

Sri Sharada Peetadhipathi Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati here on Wednesday appealed to the State government to initiate immediate steps to curb religious conversions in the tribal areas.
Speaking at the Girijana Mahasabha held at Srikrishna Mandiram under the auspices of Andhra Vanavasa Kalyana Ashramam, the Swamiji appealed to the people not to vote for corrupt elements and those who were trying to destroy Hindu religion.
