TRS general secretary Sufi Sultan Alqadri has asked the state government to allocate a budget of at least Rs 2000 core for minorities out of the general budget for the year 2013-14. He told that every year minorities particularly Muslims are getting disappointed by the budget. The Congress party which came to power with the support of minorities is meting out injustice towards Muslims while allocating budget every year. The government announces a nominal increase in the budget but that too is not totally disbursed.
He claimed that the state government gets more than 50 percent revenue from Hyderabad and Telangana region despite that the government is meting out injustice towards Telangana and minorities regarding their welfare and development.
