(Siasat News)Govt. should take a decision on fees reimbursement scheme before 16th August, otherwise TDP would launch a massive protest. TDP Supremo, Mr. N.Chandrababu Naidu told this while addressing a press conference. He told that Govt. has no interest in public issues. He demanded the resignation of Mr. Dharmana Prassada Rao, Minister for Roads and Buildings. After filing the charge sheet by C.B.I, against him, it was his moral duty to tender resignation but he is keeping quiet. He alleged Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy that instead of eradicating irregularities, the chief Minister is engaged in providing help to persons who are involved in it. It only means that all those whom C.B.I declared corrupt, are honest and duty-conscious in the eyes of C.M. Mr. Naidu told that when the irregularities in VANPIC case have been exposed by C.B.I, Govt. is encouraging the persons involved in it instead of taking action against them. He demanded the Govt. to inform the people of the State, why did it decide to help the persons involved in committing irregularities?
Criticizing the fees reimbursement issue, the crisis developed due to lack of coordination between the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues. C.M is not aware of fees reimbursement details and he is also not in a position to take any decision. If the Govt. fails to take a decision in this regard before 16th August, TDP would launch a massive agitation at State level.
For the increasing irregularities in the State, he made the State Govt. and the weak policies of Congress responsible and said that whenever Congress came to power, the Govt. treasury incurred losses because the grip of Govt. on administration was loose.
He demanded the Govt. to return the lands acquired from the poor people and farmers for VANPIC Project. Due to the irregularities of YSR Govt., the project remained as it is.
