Govt. has to honor T activists similar to Harikrishna

Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) Chief Prof. M Kodandaram has demanded the TRS government to honour the Telangana activists in the manner the government honoured actor, TDP leader Nandamuri Harikrishna.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Kodandaram lamented that only troubles and tears left in the four year TRS government rule in the state. He alleged that the state was in first place in illiteracy and in second place in corruption. He said that he was seeing the development of the single family and the development didn’t come out from the Pragathi Bhavan building.

Demanding the state government to implement the old pension system in the state, Kodandaram said that TJS will take up Deeksha on September 12 recalling the sacrifices of Telangana martyrs. The TRS government was running estimating the political needs, he pointed out and ridiculed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao stating that KCR’s name would be mentioned in the Guinness records as the first Chief Minister, who didn’t come to secretariat. He told that they will announce the candidates’ names in spontaneity and said that they will not tell anything on alliances as of now. Demanding the state government to release the VRAs, who were being arrested by the police for coming to express their opinion.

Finding fault with the government officials, revenue officials for not listening to the farmers version that they will not give their lands, Kodandaram alleged that the government was trying to change the ring road. Opining that the officials not to misuse their power, Kodandaram said that the TRS party’s meeting’s name was ‘Pragathi Nivedhana’ and TJS’ party’s was ‘Prajala Avedhana’. He alleged that the state government was failed to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana movement.

He said that the state government filled 13,000 TSPSC jobs out of 2 lakh vacant job posts and it filled 10,000 police posts. He said that the literacy rate in the Telangana state was 36 percent and non-school going children percentage was more than 30 percent. 57 percent of the children were pursuing their education in private schools. There were 23,000 teacher posts were vacant. The Telangana state was in 3rd place in farmers’ suicides. About 5000 schools were closed in the name of rationalization. The state was in second place in farmers’ debts and about 3500 farmers committed suicides in the state. The government failed to spend half of the funds allocated to SC Sub-plan. The government failed to give pensions to all, he claimed.

Demanding the state government to bring special act on employment and pensions, he said that the government was running for the sake of a single family and for contractors. He alleged that every prestigious scheme introduced by the TRS government, were filled with corrupt practices. He asked the people to raise the problems if TRS leaders ask to attend Pragathi Nivedhana meeting. The people have to ask the state government on Dharna Chowk and ask the government on beneficial price. The people have to ask the government on the attacks on daliths at Nerella. He suggested the people to ask the ruling party leaders to tell as to when the problems will be solved. “There was a need to us honour Konda Laxman Bapuji, Keshavarao Jadav, Guda Anjanna”, he stated.
