Govt. focuses on split of minority institutions

Telangana government has focused its attention on division of minority institutions so as to improve their performance. Process of division of Minority Finance Corporation and Urdu Academy has been stepped up.

Principal Secretary Social Welfare Raymond Peter and Secretary Minority Welfare Ahmed Nadeem separately convened review meetings on Monday in this connection. Suggestions were sought to remove technical hitches hampering the division of officers in minority institutions. It is said that government will be submitted a report to take necessary action in connection with division of these institutions.

The major hurdle in division of Minority Finance Corporation is Companies Act. Before the split, registration of Telangana Minority Finance Corporation under Companies Act by the government is a must. While the Urdu Academy comes under Societies Act.
