Govt. failed to tackle flood situation- Naidu

State Govt. has failed to tackle the devastating situation created by Nilam in the coastal districts of A.P. People have lost everything. Mr. Naidu, President of TDP told that Govt. has proved its in efficiency. State Secretariat was sleeping till floods affected many districts. Govt. didn’t even set up an emergency control room. He said that State leaders are engaged in Delhi for getting posts. C.M. is busy in saving his seat and he is pleasing New Delhi. He said that the attitude of the Govt. has irritated the people of A.P. Govt. did not send any relief to the flood victims Mr. Naidu told newsmen during his padayatra in Mahboob Nagar District.

He told the newsmen that C.M. should have consoled the flood victims immediately. But by convening a review meeting, he proved that he has no firm grip on State Administration. Mr. Naidu asked why didn’t the Govt. take precautionary measures?

He pointed out that 10 State Ministers are in New Delhi. Among them none bothered about the grievances of the public. They are busy in protecting their own interests. He told that the people at the State wouldn’t forgive them. They tolerated every irregularity of the Govt. They won’t tolerate this any more Govt. has proved that even if there is flood, it won’t bother about the grievances of the public. He told that he has already sent a letter to P.M. giving the details of the damages.
