Mr. Mohd Kazim Ali Khan, President South India Small and Medium Newspapers Association told that Govt. is lethargic in solving the problems of these Newspapers. For the past 10 years Govt. has been issuing advertisements to Urdu Newspapers through the Dept. of Information and Public Relations but for the past few months these advertisements have been discontinued to those paper who do not posses the certificate from Registrar of Newspapers of India. It is a fact that most of the small papers did not approach Registrar of Newspapers of India. Mr. Khan said that his association will represent this matter to the concerned Minister. He was addressing the Executive meeting of his association in his office.
