Govt. failed to protect the interests of the State- CPI

CPI blamed the State Govt. for not protecting the interests of the State in the distribution of Krishna water resources. Brijesh Kumar Tribunal has damaged the interests of the State and the Govt. has failed to protect it.

Talking to newsmen yesterday, State Secretary of CPI Dr. K. Narayana dismissed the advantage of 75% of Krishna water and pronounced its judgment. He further told that in the distribution of water resources, political intervention is necessary. He wrote a letter to Dr. Manmohan Singh also. He reminded the P.M. that UPA Govt. is continuing because of the support from the MPs of A.P. State. It is therefore imperative on the part of Central Govt. to cooperate in every field with the State Govt. to ensure its progress.
