Former Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Aziz Pasha and President of Deccan Wakf Society Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri in their press statement deplored the stand taken by Govt. of A.P. to engage Attorney General Mr. Vahanvathi to plead the case of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation and also in support of Mr. L. Rajagopal of LANCO Hills against Wakf Board which is also a wing of Govt.
They demanded the Govt. to apologize the Muslims of the State. They also demanded to probe the meetings of L. Rajagopal with the CM Congress should think that in order to benefit a single individual, it is incurring the wrath of the entire Muslim Community. With the Govt. approaching the Supreme Court, it is clear that the Congress Govt. is hostile to the Muslims. They asked the Govt. whether Wakf Board is a Govt. institution or not. If the Govt. thinks that Wakf Board is also a Govt. institution, how can it employ Attorney General against its own institution?
These leaders told that whatever happiness the Muslims had got on the judgment pronounced earlier about the ownership case of Dargah Hussain Shah Wali Land, the Govt. has snatched it.
They also demanded the Muslim leaders of the Congress and other justice-loving Muslim leaders should pressurize the Govt. to withdraw the Special Petition. Mr. Aziz Pasha and Mr. Osman demanded to expose all the conspiracies. He told that a long term agitation would be started against the Govt. of A.P.
