Gurgaon: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said the officers and other employees working for government need to be sensitive towards society and they should work for the progress of nation.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a conference on ‘Improvement in Training Module’ organised by Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) for north Indian states.
“In the changing circumstances, training has become an important program which needs to be linked with the new technology in order to bring more efficiency and transparency in working,” Khattar said.
He was of the view that the course content of the training module should be made interesting with inspirational and motivational success stories so that people doing it will learn something out of it.
Pointing out to Arvind Kumar’s ‘Super 30’, who was also present on the occasion, the Chief Minister said he was doing a tremendous job for the country and his success story can be motivational to the society.
He stressed on the need to change the mindset of the government employees who have moved on the wrong path of corruption.
“Young talents joining services should be guided to choose the right path. We want to set the system right,” he said.
Outlining various step taken by his government, he said, “We have tried minimum human interface by the use of I-T which has checked corruption to a large extent in government offices.”
Director Generals of Central Training Institute (CTI), Administrative Training Institute (ATI) and various other experts also participated in the event.
According to the Joint Secretary of DOPT P K Das, these experts will share their views and experiences and send their recommendations to the DOPT, which will be further put up in the National Seminar to be held in Vigyan Bhawan on 27th May.
