Abu Dhabi, June 16: Fifty-two students, all of whom are differently abled, are set to be integrated with mainstream professionals in various government departments in Abu Dhabi. These students of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHOHCSN) are to be placed across 10 different departments.
The two-month training of these students started this week. Moza Al Qubaisi, head of training and recruitment sector at the ZHOHCSN, said, this is the result of sound partnership with the community, and cooperation between ZHOHCSN and a number of government departments, institutions as well as private entities.
Three of the 52 students have been sent to Department of Municipal Affairs in Abu Dhabi, three to Abu Dhabi Municipality, 13 to Al Ain Municipality, five to Western Region Municipality in Sila city, three to Western Region Municipality in Delma Island, 16 to Abu Dhabi Heath Services Company (Seha) in the capital, one to Seha in Ghayathi city, three to Seha in Sila city.
ZHOHCSN will impart training during this summer vacation and help them develop technical and professional skills and then merge them with regular staff of companies for which they would have been selected, Al Qubaisi said.
