Govt. Degree college Nampally likely to be shifted to Vittalwadi

(Siasat News) Govt. makes lofty claims for the development of Minorities but its administration slowly frames such policies which go against the development of Minorities. Govt. is shifting Urdu Medium Schools and Colleges from Minorities concentration areas to remote places.

Govt. Degree college Nampally which is functioning at Bazarghat cross roads is likely to be shifted to the newly constructed building at Vittalwadi. It is reported from the next academic year this college will be shifted there. The present building of Nampally Degree college is very spacious and there is no reason to shift it, to a far off place like Vittalwadi.

It may be noted that Babu Jagjivan Ram College was started by the father of Deputy C.M. Mr. Damodhar Raja Narsimha. It was an aided college. Govt. took over this college in 1989 and shifted it from Lakdikapul to Bazarghat. Despite shifting it from there, in 2001, the strength of the students did not decrease. This college is being run successfully in this area but the communal minded officers of this college are mentally upset due to 80% strength of Muslim students in this college. A conspiracy has been hatched to reduce the strength of Muslim students and in an organized way this college is being shifted to Vittalwadi were RSS parade is conducted regularly. Due to this Muslim students specially girls will not take admission in this college and in this way the strength of Muslim students will be reduce.

The management and the Govt. officials are requested to reconsider this proposal and take steps to keep the college running at the same place.
